The trough was built two quarters ago

Twelve pages, five exercises, and a floor small enough to survive your worst week. Written for people whose revenue line looks like a mountain range, and who have never put the last eight quarters side by side.

What is inside

  1. Draw the shape. Eight quarters, and the ratio between your best and your worst.
  2. Measure your lead time. Five mandates, two dates each. The number says which quarter you are actually working on.
  3. Find the week it was made. Count back from the trough. You were at maximum load, and it was your best month of the year.
  4. Price what it costs. Not the empty months. What you accepted in the second month of a gap.
  5. Write the floor. The smallest thing you could hold in your worst week. Over ninety minutes and it breaks.

Twelve pages. PDF and web page. Twenty minutes to read, an hour with your bank statements.
